I first came across Gardenature at the Rutland Water Birdwatching Fair and I was impressed by their enthusiasm and knowledge. They provided me with a small unobtrusive video camera which is permanently connected to a television screen in my studio. It’s extremely useful to me, especially as I am involved with consultancy on access to the countryside for people who are less than fully mobile. A garden camera is a decided advantage for people who find it difficult to enjoy the wildlife there.  The people at Gardenature are helpful and will try to fit the product to the need.

You just would not believe how long I've looked for a digital video transmission system that could manage more than 10fps and not look like something from a 1930s silent movie whilst surviving the rigours of the outside world and not costing me a fortune. This is the best I've so far seen and even relatively unimportant things such as phono connectors to match video cables rather than scart connectors intended to transmit Eastenders from room to room, are a huge advantage. As I knew when the delivery was to be made, I had the test camera ready before it arrived. Getting the picture onto the screen took me 10 minutes. The quality of the supplied instructions is also to be commended. A combination of that and your attention to detail over the hardware really means a customer would have to try really hard to get this wrong!

I purchased one of your camera nestboxes earlier this week and would like to say how extremely impressed I was with the quality of the build and the wood used. I received the box last Tuesday installed by the afternoon and to my surprise when I looked Weds morning I saw a blue tit bringing in the nesting material. Hows that for success!!

I have experienced the most gorgeous 6 weeks watching a mummy blue tit in my nesting box lay 12 eggs and hatching all of them.  11 survived and flew and 1 sadly died but not without putting up a mighty fight.  I have some gorgeous photographs and would love to send you one or two if you would like to receive them.  I am bereft now without my babies to watch and look forward to next year.  How hard the parents worked feeding their babies and keeping them clean.  I loved every minute of it.  Thank  you for providing me with the opportunity to watch this on my own television.

Many thanks for such excellent service. I ordered a wireless colour Discovery nest box on Sunday evening. It arrived this (Wednesday) morning at 8.10 am. At 9.15 am I was receiving clear pictures (and sound) on my television, and at 9.20 am the first blue tit had a quick glance inside through the entrance hole. Having managed to isolate myself from mobile phones, ipods and most other forms of modern technology, I had been rather apprehensive about setting up the nest box wireless system, but as can be seen from the above, the whole process was unbelievably simple. I look forward to having a lodger move in this Spring.

Just to let you know that I purchased a birdbox with a camera for my mums birthday back in March. What a success. Within weeks a Blue Tit adopted it. She made a lovely nest and laid 8 eggs. 7 birds hatched and they stayed for 3 weeks. They have now flown the nest. My mum has had such pleasure watching the mum and dad look after their babies.
