While evaluating customer feedback, we recognised that many people who wanted a Bird Box Camera were put off by having to drill a hole through their external house wall to run the power cable through. With this in mind, we developed an entirely new system which revolutionises usability by creating the world’s first completely wire-free camera system capable of lasting an entire nesting season without connecting to an external power supply!
Solar Powered WiFi Battery Camera
Our 3 Megapixel, 5200mA battery WiFi camera is kept charged by a high-performance solar panel with its own integrated 15,600mA lithium-ion battery pack to ensure the camera stays fully charged, even on the cloudiest days. The solar panel's battery pack recharges with sunlight, and on the rare chance its battery does run down, it can simply be taken indoors and charged via a Micro USB - all without disturbing your nesting birds.

WiFi Camera w/PoE Extension
Our 4 Megapixel WiFi Camera includes a 10m power cable as an alternative to solar power. It connects to the Nestera app in the same way as the battery camera to provide the same stunning HD videos of your nesting birds. The benefit of this camera is that it can be used out of WiFi range with a CAT5e Ethernet cable (up to 100m) that connects to your router. With our PoE (Power over Ethernet) adapter, this cable can also power the camera to offer a robust solution that doesn’t rely on WiFi or power sockets near the Bird Box. (PoE adapter and CAT5e Ethernet cable are optional extras.)

Gardenature Bird Boxes
We’ve been designing high-quality bird boxes for nearly 20 years, so we know a thing or two about what works and what doesn’t! We have optimised our designs to work perfectly with the technology that sits inside them, while keeping a traditional appearance.
Natural oils present in the Western Red Cedar mean our Bird Boxes do not require treating or painting. Discreet drainage holes ensure any moisture can easily escape, allowing your nesting birds to stay warm and dry, while the removable panel on the front of the box allows easy cleaning at the end of nesting season.
Translucent windows provide optimum light levels for the camera, but do not let predators see in, while our specially designed tray keeps the camera and wires safely away from the nesting chamber.
Our style of Bird Box features a removable front panel and includes 28mm and 32mm hole protection plates, making it an ideal habitat for a wide range of garden birds, including blue tits, coal tits, marsh tits, great tits, house sparrows, robins, and more.
