 Sandwich Bay Observatory

Located on the Kent coastline in the Sandwich and Hacklinge SSSI, the large floodplain of the river Stour that nestles between the White Cliffs of Dover to the south and the Isle of Thanet to the north. 
It is the base for the ongoing work of Sandwich Bay Bird Observatory Trust, which has been recording all aspects of the wildlife of Sandwich Bay for over 50 years. Follow this link to view their programme of weekly events for members and non-members including walks, talks and workshops

Having written a number of books on wildlife and the countryside Dennis Furnell decided to write his first digital book for Amazon Kindle. He has a small, but productive, wildlife garden fitted with a gardenature camera to record day to day events - from a fox drinking at the pond to a wood mouse cheekily taking grated cheese set out for young robins (right under their beaks) to spawning frogs splashing and croaking in the pond.

Aylesbury Peregrine Project

Here we have two live cameras trained onto a Peregrine platform at the top of the Bucks County Council Tower. Apart from our cameras you can also see the Peregrines from several places in Aylesbury Town Centre.  Market Square and outside the Waterside Theatre are the best viewing areas.
