Bushnell NatureView Cam HD Max
The Bushnell NatureView Cam HD trail camera features a 14MP CMOS image sensor which captures stunning images and 1080p HD video. Powered by AA batteries and recording to an SD card (not supplied) Bushnell camera traps are ideal for use in any remote location or back garden! This Bushnell Natureview Cam HD Max is equipped with a separate 2.4 inch colour viewer screen for playback and live view through the lens, very useful for framing and setting up the image required. The Live View screen can also be used for scrolling and operation of menu functions which basically mirrors the smaller internal LCD screen.
What makes this Bushnell even more versatile is that there are two additional close focus lenses which offer minimum focal distances of 46 and 60cm / f460mm and f600mm, these enable you to capture clear depth of field in your images even when the subject gets up really close. The Bushnell Natureview 14 megapixel Camera contains an Auto PIR (passive infrared) sensor that's motion-activated to a distance of 18 meters (60ft). Hyper Night Vision technology is composed of 32 no-glow LEDs which are effective to 25 meters (80ft)
The Bushnell 119740 HD Max can capture still images and upto 60 sec clips of full HD 1080p video with sound. You can even set the camera to shoot both at the same time in full resolution Hybrid Capture Mode. Day, Night and 24hr exposure modes optimize camera settings for the best photo and video capturing based on the time of day. Bushnell also provide Field Scan 2x time-lapse technology automatically capturing images at preset intervals of your choice for stitching together into videos. The Moon Phase stamp feature links the current date to the phase of the moon on that date and imprints an icon on your photo. The Bushnell GPS Geotag lets you automatically embed coordinates to make wildlife tracking and bushnell camera placement easier to identify.
LCD + Live View Screens
This particular Bushnell camera is equipped with a separate hand-held Live Colour Viewer (2.4inch) screen, and an internal LCD (1.5inch) screen for easy menu set up. When the camera door is closed, the bushnell live viewer screen can be manually connected via a weatherproof plug-in (90cm lead) back to your Bushnell camera, this allows you to see through the camera lens proving very useful for accurate positioning. With the Bushnell camera door open, you can playback images and video in colour on the live view screen using the menu buttons inside the camera. The separate viewer can also mirror the cameras internal LCD set-up screen in a larger format as a preferred option. The separate viewer requires x2 AA batteries and has an on/off button.
CMOS image sensor with a selectable resolution of 3, 8 or 14MP (max 4416 x 3312)
PIR Motion Sensor
Motion-activated up to a range of 60ft, the PIR (passive infrared) sensor detects the changes in temperature that occur when subjects move and captures images in response. You can set it to Auto mode to have sensitivity automatically regulated based on temperature, or you can adjust the sensitivity to Low, Medium or High
Standard Lens is 3.1mm / FOV 50 degrees.
Also included: Two close focus lenses with minimum focus distances of 46 and 60 centimeters let you capture clear depth of field in your images, even when wildlife gets really close. These lenses are manually screwed on where/when required for close-up action
No-Glow Black LEDs
Hyper Night Vision flash 32 LEDs are completely invisible. Wildlife wont be scared off and also effective as a security surveillance device
Multi Flash Mode
Allows you to adjust flash power for various setups, in order to conserve battery power
Full HD Movie Recording
Bushnell capture clips of Full HD 1920x1080p video with sound. Clip length is programmable from 1 to 60 seconds by day. LEDs need to be set to medium or low to obtain 60 seconds of video at night, when LED is set to high video defaults to 15 seconds.
Hybrid Capture Mode
Allows you to shoot Full HD video and full-resolution still images simultaneously, each time the camera is triggered
Bushnell Field Scan 2x Time Lapse Technology
Automatically snaps images at preset intervals of 1 min to 1 hr, within the hours of your choice. Monitor movement at dusk, dawn, and every time slot in between. Bushnells Time-lapse mode gives you the widest viewing potential whilst it is not a motion-activated function, the live motion trigger will still activate and capture images at the same time as the time-lapse images
Freeze Frame Shutter
The night vision capability enables the trail camera to use faster shutter speeds than would otherwise be possible in darkness, allowing it to freeze motion
Date and Temperature Stamp
Puts an imprint of the date and temperature on each photo at the time of capture. This can help you track change over time, or figure out which animals are more active than others at different periods and in colder or warmer conditions
Moon Phase Stamp
Links the current date to the phase of the moon on that date, storing the data on an internal memory chip, and imprints an icon on your photo at the time of capture. This can help you determine if particular animals are inactive at night when a full or nearly full moon is present, making them more visible to predators. Additionally, if night photos appear darker or lighter in the background, Moon Phase helps you determine whether that is due to the brightness of the moon
You can automatically embed GPS coordinates into your Bushnell Trail Camera making it easier to track wildlife and decide exactly where to place the camera to get the best images
In addition to the 4:3 aspect ratio, 16:9 is also available for widescreen images and video
