Schools Bird Box Project
Posted 18 May 2015
Gardenature are pleased to be working with Schools on many different projects, heres one we continue to work closely with and already have planned expansion for 2016.
The Schools BirdBox Project is an exciting opportunity for schools to encourage pupils to "give nature a home", and learn about the many birds that visit their school grounds throughout the year.
Managed by the South East Learning Associates, the 12 week educational project for Key Stages 1 and 2 pupils is an important part of the BirdBox programme. Launching in mid March and finishing at the end of June, this exciting project offers pupils the unique opportunity to watch live footage from inside a gardenature birdbox, and learn about the feeding habits of the many birds that visit their bird feeding station.
